Refund & Cancellation Policy
Subscriptions to Aftertask are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record or authorized reseller. This page explains how refunds and cancellations work for Aftertask. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy also apply to the transaction.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel any time from Account → Billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Your workspace continues on the paid plan until the end of the current billing period, then drops to Free. Cancellation alone does not trigger a refund.
Refund window
Some customers have statutory cancellation or refund rights depending on where they live, and Paddle may also approve refund requests under its refund policy. To request a refund, email support@aftertask.com with your Paddle transaction id. Approved refunds are processed through Paddle.
Outside rights required by law or Paddle's policy, renewed subscription refunds are not automatic. We review requests for billing errors, duplicate charges, prolonged service issues, and other circumstances.
Plan changes mid-cycle
Plan changes are handled through Paddle Checkout or Paddle's customer portal. Timing, proration, and any immediate charge or credit are shown by Paddle before confirmation.
AI credit packs
One-time AI credit packs are intended as top-ups for paid workspaces. Consumed credits are not refundable except where required by law or Paddle's policy. For unused top-ups, email support@aftertask.com. Approved refunds are processed through Paddle and may require us to remove the corresponding credits from the workspace.
Service downtime
We do not offer automatic SLA credits at this time. If a prolonged outage materially affects your use, email us and we will review on a case-by-case basis.
How to request a refund
Email support@aftertask.com with:
- The email address on the Aftertask account.
- The Paddle transaction id (from the receipt Paddle emailed you).
- A brief reason, optional but helpful.
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method and may take 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
